Devland meeting minutes
22 October 2026 | Sample for review
Participants
Zubair and Muhammed Bayat. Abdullah Vaid joined during the third recording. Aadil is head of accounts; attendance is not confirmed.
Key points
- Manual entry uses substantial staff time and creates opportunities for errors.
- Muhammed checks invoices against negotiated prices, discounts and rebates before approval.
- Devland uses React and can provide Excel exports for the initial work.
- The longer-term aim is to digitise in stages and build a live view across the business.
- Muhammed also wants meeting recordings converted into concise minutes and actions.
Starting point
Test supplier-statement and invoice reconciliation on one account, using around five completed historical invoices. Compare the result with the accounts team’s existing work before considering a larger trial. Receiving integration is outside this first exercise.
Actions
- Tinkerbird: prepare the reconciliation proposal and sample minutes. Drafts prepared for review.
- Suggested for Aadil/accounts: select the supplier and provide the statement, React Excel export, invoices and existing reconciliation.
- Suggested for Muhammed: confirm the deal prices, discount and rebate conditions for the selected invoices.
- Both teams: confirm the sample, review criteria, fee/VAT, approver and dates before work starts.
Suggested owners need confirmation. No deadlines, fee or paid trial were agreed.
Basis
Prepared from the three meeting recordings and Zubair’s follow-up notes. For participant review, not a verbatim transcript.
